Global Pets Forum Draws Attendees From 28 Countries
A total of 217 attendees from 28 countries attended the ninth edition of Global Pets Forum, held Jan. 24-25 at the Grand Hotel Kempinski in Geneva, Switzerland, for several lectures revolving around the theme of “Changing Consumers, Changing Opportunities.”
Last year, the event drew 217 attendees from 24 countries.
Rolf C. Hagen Inc. (Montreal) received the 2008 Global Pet Award during the event. Presented by Pets International Magazine (Amersfoort, The Netherlands), the award was based on online voting by the magazine’s readers as well as voting by conference attendees. Finalists for the award were Trixie Heimtierbedarf GmbH & Co. KG and Tropehagen Zoo.
Highlights included a dinner celebrating the 30th anniversary of Interzoo, a biennial pet trade show that takes place in Nuremburg, Germany.
