APPA Co-produces NYC Pet Show
The American Pet Products Association (Greenwich, Conn.) is partnering with CCK Global Events (New York) to produce the NYC Pet Show, a unique pet event that will debut May 22-23 at the Metropolitan Pavilion in New York.
The consumer event is a first for APPA, but organizers believe it’s time to take its member companies directly to their customers.
For its debut year, the NYC Pet Show will showcase more than 60 companies that manufacture dog and cat products specifically targeted toward city-dwelling pet owners. New York is considered one of the most animal-friendly cities in the country, so its residents can be expected to look for unique products and services to enhance their quality of life and improve human-pet relationships.
Organizers anticipate up to 5,000 attendees each day to walk the show floor and take part in a program of well-known industry speakers. They also promise celebrity appearances, but no announcements had been made as of press time.
