Free Consulting Sessions Debut at Backer’s Spring Show
Retailers, distributors and manufacturers can get free expert advice on a variety of business-related topics during H.H. Backer’s Pet Industry Spring Trade Show, April 23-25 in Baltimore.
Vicki Lynne Morgan, a pet industry veteran and owner of Animal Brands, a manufacturers’ representative firm in Clifton, N.J., will consult privately with business owners on Thursday, April 22, and Friday, April 22.
Morgan’s “Ask the Expert” management sessions, sponsored by PET AGE magazine, are available on a first-come, first-served basis, with priority given to those who sign up in advance.
Since 2001, Morgan has counseled more than 1,000 small-business owners through the New Jersey Small Business Development Center on marketing, selling skills, customer experience management, Web site design, sales collateral review and trade shows.
Representatives from up to four companies, with a maximum of four people per firm, may participate in each one-hour session. Exhibitors will have priority for sessions on Thursday, April 22. Retailers and distributors will have priority on Friday, April 23.
