ASPCA Will Highlight Animal Cruelty Prevention in April
The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (New York) wants you to “Go Orange for Animals” in April by using orange light bulbs, decorating your stores and dressing up—both you and your pets—in orange.
April is Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Month. On April 7, the Empire State Building in New York, the Sears Tower in Chicago and Niagara Falls in Buffalo will be lit up in orange to highlight the importance of spaying and neutering, pet adoption, support of local animal shelters and preventing animal cruelty.
Celebrations will also be held in Austin, Texas (April 28) and Venice Beach, Calif. (April 25).
