Eagle Pack and Old Mother Hubbard Merge
Two major players in the natural pet food game—with decades of pet food marketing experience between them—are merging to create what the new company head touts as “an unrivaled portfolio.”
Old Mother Hubbard and Eagle Pack Pet Foods Inc., with their respective Wellness and Holistic Select lines, are coming together to form WellPet L.L.C. The new company will be headquartered in Tewksbury, Mass, where Old Mother Hubbard was based. It will maintain a manufacturing facility in Mishawaka, Ind., where Eagle Pack was headquartered.
