SuperZoo Offers Upgrades
The World Wide Pet Industry Association (Arcadia, Calif.) is
partnering with BDMetrics Inc. (Baltimore) to launch a new service
to maximize sales opportunities for exhibitors and attendees
of SuperZoo 2006, scheduled for Sept. 20-22 at the Mandalay
Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas.
Called SmartEvent, the new service will cross-reference information
from attendees with information from exhibitors, then send
each attendee a customized list of exhibitors and products
that fit their profiles. In addition, it will provide a targeted
list of SuperZoo University classes.
“Matching the attendees to the exhibitors will create
a more productive SuperZoo for both sides,” said Doug
Poindexter, executive vice president of WWPIA. “Helping
them connect will make SuperZoo a more valuable show experience
by increasing the return on investment for both the attendees
and exhibitors.”
“We are pleased that a show of the significance of
SuperZoo has chosen us to help them connect attendees with
exhibitors,” said Rick Geritz, president and chief executive
officer of BDMetrics, a privately held event relationship
creation company. “For the first time, attendees will
experience a SuperZoo that is truly personalized to their
unique needs—before, during and even after SuperZoo—and
as a result, exhibitors will dramatically improve their ROI.”
