The Pet Industry Transformation conference, designed to bring together the food, specialty, over-the-counter and pharmaceutical branches of the pet industry, will debut Feb. 11-12 at the Luxor Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.
The two-day conference will focus on major trends—including those of interest to new entrants to the market.
Keynote speakers Bob Vetere, president of the American Pet Products Association (Greenwich, Conn.), and Paul Cooke, vice president of trade and industry development for Nestle Purina PetCare Co. (St. Louis), will speak on “8 Revolutionary Growth Strategies & Trends.”
A total of 20 speakers are slated to cover food trends, over-the-counter medications, veterinary market challenges, the retail revolution, Internet and social media, branding, licensing and labeling, health and wellness and international business.
