Nearly 20,000 professional visitors from more than 60 countries and regions—including 2,300 buyers from overseas—attended the 11th China International Pet Show, the largest aquarium and pet supplies expo in Asia, held Nov. 15-18 at the China Import & Export Fair Pazhou Complex in Guangzhou, China.
The professional visitor count increased 18 percent from the previous year’s show, and international buyer attendance increased 53 percent. according to show organizer China Great Wall International Exhibition Co. Ltd. (Beijing).
The expo attracted 463 exhibitors from more than 30 countries, including Australia, Brazil, China, Germany, Indonesia, Iran, Israel, Italy, Japan, Singapore and Taiwan. Of those, 267 (57 percent) exhibited non-aquarium pet supplies and 196 (43 percent) exhibited aquarium supplies.
