Glee Debuts
Visitor-Friendly Layout
Responding to an evolving industry environment, the organizers
of Glee are revamping the layout of the 2007 show to improve
visitor flow, group complementary products and create a more
rewarding buying experience.
When England’s leading trade exposition for the pet,
garden and leisure industries takes place Sept. 16-18 at the
NEC in Birmingham, it will feature several key zones, including
Petindex, in new locations to provide a more logical, buyer-focused
route through the exhibits. Furthermore, exhibitors with similar
types of products will be together, positioned to encourage
visitor footfall without wasting space.
“Glee is there to serve and support the industry, and
as such it’s vital that we reflect the changes of the
last decade,” said Alison Jackson, managing director
for Glee. “Some sectors have expanded whilst others
contract. There have also been many new profit opportunities
for the retailer. That’s why we have decided to introduce
such important changes to the way Glee 2007 is organized.
I believe that exhibitors will find the show more pleasurable
and profitable to attend, whilst buyers will enjoy a greatly
improved visiting experience. This is progress that will appeal
to the whole industry and should make for an even more vibrant,
well-attended show.”
Show organizers will announce more details about Glee’s
new format and layout in coming months. For more information,
