Aquarama 2007
Moves to New Site
Aquarama 2007, to be held May 24-27, will draw aquarium hobbyists
and experts from around the world to the show’s new location—the
Suntec Singapore International Convention and Exhibition Centre,
in the heart of Singapore’s Central Business District.
Organized by CMP Asia Trade Fairs Pte. Ltd., the 10th edition
of the international ornamental fish and accessories exhibition
will be held in conjunction with Pet Asia 2007 and InterGarden
2007 so vendors of aquarium-specific, pet and water garden
markets can display their wares under one roof.
Show highlights will include the Aquarama international fish
competition, in which a panel of international experts will
judge entries in discus, goldfish, guppy, dragonfish, tetra,
corydoras, gourami, molly, platy, swordtail and betta splendens
categories as well as two new categories: pleco and cichlids.
In the new planted tank competition, 3-foot tanks will be
decorated to showcase the beauty of natural aquatic plants.
Based on its success in 2005, the marine tank competition
will be expanded from 20 tanks to 30 tanks.
Other activities will include visits to various fish farms.
