SuperZoo University Debuts
Taking advantage of the extra day added to SuperZoo 2006, the
World Wide Pet Industry Association (Arcadia, Calif.) will launch
an expanded program of seminars called SuperZoo University.
SuperZoo, organized by WWPIA, will take place Sept. 20-22
at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas.
The new seminar program will bring business education to
the trade show floor for the convenience of attendees and
exhibitors. A total of 22 topics, ranging from animal care
to better business practices, will be repeated in 30-minute
sessions on the first and second days of the show, allowing
visitors to attend several seminars.
By comparison, 11 seminars were offered at SuperZoo 2005.
”WWPIA’s goal in establishing SuperZoo University
is to create a comprehensive educational environment that
will truly benefit exhibitors and attendees in their pursuit
of increased business and more efficient and effective management,”
said Doug Poindexter, executive vice president of WWPIA. “We
hope that by holding the classes on the exhibit floor and
presenting important, innovative and useful information, SuperZoo
University will provide essential tools to stay on top of
and ahead of our ever-changing industry.”
