Global Pet Expo Debuts ‘Retailer Summit’
Global Pet Expo will feature a new event to help retailers expand their networking opportunities and share ideas with fellow pet store owners: The Pet Products Retailer Summit is designed to welcome free-flowing discussion about all retail issues.
“There has never been a more important time for pet store owners to network and brainstorm,” said Andrew Darmohraj, senior vice president of the American Pet Products Association (Greenwich, Conn.). “Offering retailers an open forum to share concerns and thoughts on the future of this industry brings a new level of interaction to the show.”
The program—set for 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 12, in the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla.—is for retailers only and will be moderated by Steve Miller of The Adventure. Register at (203) 532-0000, or by Friday, Jan. 23 at www.globalpetexpo.org.
