Kanberra Issues Statement on Misconceptions

In an effort to clear up any misconceptions, Kanberra Group president and CEO Joel Solly had issued a statement of facts about his company’s products.

“From day one, Kanberra has used only all-natural ingredients in our products including Pure Australian Tea Tree Oil (PATTO),” said Solly. “Kanberra Products were the first water-based air purifiers to use PATTO in our proprietary blend of essential oils and we continue to use that standard in all of our products. No alcohol. No chemicals. No questions.”

In issuing the statement, Solly said he hopes to protect consumers from purchasing products that are promoted as using PATTO, when in fact they are made with adulterated TTO, sometimes called synthetic or nature identical. Such products, increasingly found in world markets, may use a mix of unknown chemicals from unidentified sources. Most often, no safety or efficacy testing is done on these mixtures. In addition, products claiming to be all natural may use alcohol and other man-made ingredients in their formulas.

“It is important for consumers to understand there is a difference among these products,”

Said Solly. “We want our customers to know that they can purchase Kanberra products in confidence – they are receiving an all natural, water-based and alcohol-free product with the finest ingredients including PATTO. Always have. Always will.”
