Chuck Latham Associates Names New President

The Chuck Latham Associates (CLA) management team announced Joe Giles has joined the company as the new president and chief operating officer. CLA is a 33 year-old company that specializes in providing comprehensive sales, marketing and merchandising services to the pet industry across all major channels.

Joe brings more than 30 years of strategic, operational and customer service experience to CLA. After starting in the field as a PepsiCo sales representative, he moved up to general manager in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Most recently, Joe served as general manager of Hill’s Pet Nutrition Canada.

During Joe’s 21-year tenure with Hill’s, he held several positions of increasing responsibility including project manager, trade marketing manager and national sales director for the pet channel. Among his many professional successes, he established and managed the firm’s PetSmart Customer Development Team, accelerated their new product launch process, formed a new sales team dedicated to the pet and farm channels, and developed strong relationship-building strategies with key customers and suppliers to grow the business.
