Identity Names Middle West Distributors, Independent Pet Supply as New Partners

Identity Pet Nutrition has appointed Middle West Distributors of West Chicago, Illinois, and Independent Pet Supply of Snohomish, Washington, as exclusive distributors for the brand.

Identity, launched this summer by third generation pet industry entrepreneurs, offers an assortment of 16 sustainable and responsibly-sourced 95 percent meat, poultry and fish canned dog and cat foods.

“We are extremely excited to partner with Middle West and Independent Pet Supply to exclusively represent our brand as we execute our strategic plan of expansion,” Identity founder Jeremy Petersen said. “As independent, family-owned businesses, they share our passion and commitment in servicing independent pet retailers by providing access to the highest-quality, new and innovative products.”

Middle West will service retailers in Chicago, southern Wisconsin and northern Indiana while Independent Pet Supply will cover Washington, Oregon and the Idaho panhandle.
