DERMagic Receives Outstanding Business Award

DERMagic Skin Care for Animals was honored among 22 companies as an Outstanding Washington Employer.

The Community Employment Alliance and Association of Washington Business Outstanding Employer Award honors Washington State businesses, government agencies and non-profit corporations that have made exceptional efforts to employ people with disabilities and who by their recruitment, hiring, retention and promotion policies are role models in their community.

“We are grateful to receive this honor,” Dr. Adelia Ritchie, founder of DERMagic, said. “The Northwest Center is a wonderful resource for local businesses and we’re thrilled to have found such dedicated individuals.”

The company was nominated by Northwest Center, a leader in promoting the rights and independence of infants, children, teens and adults with developmental disabilities.

DERMagic employs 5 part-time employees for making product samples and labeling products.

DERMagic creates a line of all-natural, paraben-free and enriched with organic essential oils products that offer a comprehensive approach to healthy skin and coats for dogs and cats.
