Press release: Darwin’s Natural Pet Products

Darwin’s Natural Pet Products, the leading provider of raw pet food available by subscription, today announced it will pay the adoption fees for its customers who adopt a rescued cat or dog. Adopters receive free pet food from Darwin’s in the amount of the adoption fees.

“Our mission at Darwin’s is to help dogs and cats live longer healthier lives, and we want to partner with pet owners to help improve the lives of the many dogs and cats that are currently in shelters,” said Gary Tashjian, Darwin’s Natural Pet Products president. “With shelters overcrowded, we need to make it easier for people to adopt dogs and cats, particularly those who’ve recently lost their homes. By paying our customers’ adoption fees, we hope to work with them to help reduce the strain on shelters and help pets start new lives in loving homes.”

The offer is in response to shelter overcrowding, which has been made worse by recent natural disasters. Shelters take in 6.5 million companion animals per year, according to the ASPCA. The free adoption fees offer applies to any rescue or shelter dog or cat adopted anywhere in the U.S. (The state of California, as well as other cities and states, have enacted laws that limit the sales of pets in pet stores to rescues, and those dogs and cats are also included in this offer.)

Adopters can receive free raw pet food in the amount of the adoption fees, up to $150, by submitting images of their adoption certificate and adoption fee receipt to Darwin’s. Submission and contact information are available at www.darwinspet.com/adoptions. The offer ends February 28, 2019, and is available to both new and existing subscribers.

Darwin’s Natural Pet Products, a leading provider of raw pet food, delivers nutritious and raw pet food meals directly to consumers homes, feeding thousands of pets every day. Customers report on their pets’ improved health, mobility and energy. Darwin’s pet food is based on nutrition science and the natural diets of dogs and cat.
