CANIDAE Pet Food Supports Hurricane Relief Efforts

CANIDAE Pet Food, independent and family-owned for over 20 years, is supporting Hurricane Harvey relief efforts by partnering with SaveARescue by delivering more than 25,000 units of its premium cat and dog food to a handful of local shelters in the affected regions in Texas. The company is leveraging resources from its state-of-the-art Ethos Pet Nutrition cooking facility in Brownwood, Texas, to ship its high-quality pet food to families in need.

“As areas in southeast Texas, along the Gulf Coast, and in Florida recover from the impact of Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Irma, our focus will remain on ensuring pets are getting the proper nutrition and care they need,” CANIDAE co-founder and co-owner Scott Whipple said. “Some of our trusted farmers and suppliers live and work in the affected areas, so our team is committed to demonstrate its solidarity with the victims, as well as our Texas family.”

CANIDAE will continue to monitor recovery efforts, and evaluate the situations in Texas and Florida to supply additional pet food as needed.
