Blackwood Pet Food Adds Distributors

Blackwood Pet Food has added three new distributors.

“The expansion into these markets with our new distributor partners gives us the opportunity to offer our premium foods to pet owners that are looking for our small batch recipes,” said Matthew Golladay, vice president of Blackwood Pet Food.

They have added Tickner’s Pet Food and Supply Distribution located in Hackettstown, N.J. and covering New Jersey and Eastern Pennsylvania.

“Blackwood is a company we can rely on; their standard of quality is second to none,” said Brian Harchar, sales manager at Tickner’s. “They understand and support the independent retailer.”

They have also added Bark to Basics, located in Olathe, Kan. A supplier of holistic, all natural pet products serving Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana and parts of Nebraska.

“The Blackwood and Adirondack pet foods allow us to reach different segments of retail that were never possible before,” said Jeff Williams, director of sales and marketing at Bark to Basics.

Finally, Blackwood as added Lads Pet Supply, located in Angola, N.Y that NY that services independent retailers in New York, Western Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia, and parts of Maryland.
