Animal Supply Company will move from a regional to a more functional structure after George Ristevski resigned as CEO of the company.

By moving to a more centralized approach, ASC’s new structure will simplify contact points for customers and vendors as well as streamline its business processes to maximize efficiency and service. These changes are aligned with the company’s goal of expanding the “Local Everywhere” structure to best support the independent pet retail channel and will provide a consistent experience across all locations for its customers, vendors and employees.

“The adoption of our new functional and enterprise-focused structure is an important milestone for Animal Supply Company,” states Randy Reber, chairman of the board. “George Ristevski has resigned as CEO of Animal Supply. We appreciated the opportunity to work together to build and grow Animal Supply, and we wish him continued success in the future.”

The company also appointed four executives to lead all business operations: Customer Success: Sales/Marketing will be led by Jeff Sutherland, executive vice president. Customer Fulfillment: Operations/IT will be led by Tim Batterson, executive vice president. Financial Services: Finance will be led by Ken Fish, executive vice president and Employee Services: Human Resources will be led by Mary Kay Gribbons, senior vice president.
