American Nutrition Receives Perfect SQF Score

American Nutrition, a custom manufacturer that produces pet food and treats for branded companies and retailers, is pleased to announce it recently received a 100 percent Safe Quality Food (SQF) score on an unannounced SQF Level III audit at the Woodland, Washington, facility. Level III is the highest level of certification targeted at those looking to be assessed based on the Food Safety and Quality Management System. Only 5 percent of companies receive a 100 percent score at the level III tier.

SQF is a food safety management system certification scheme that requires those involved to build a food safety management system with processes that meet all of the requirements defined here. SQF is recognized by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI).
