The Iams Co. (Dayton, Ohio) and Pet Plan Insurance (Winnipeg, Manitoba) in May launched the Iams Pet Plan Pet Insurance Value Pack in all 231 Wal-Mart stores in Canada.

The pack includes an 8-ounce bag of cat or dog food, a care guide, $10 worth of Iams coupons, a $1 coupon for Febreze fabric deodorizer, and a coupon for a free Swiffer wet refill with the purchase of a Swiffer starter kit. In addition, Iams will pay the first month's premium for any purchaser who decides to buy a Pet Plan insurance policy, and will offer a $25 rebate off new policy holders' next veterinary visit. Purchases also will receive a subscription to Dogs in Canada, PETS Magazine or Magazine Animal.
