APPMA's Pets Add Life Campaign Launches
Public service announcements demonstrating the joys and benefits
of pet ownership recently began airing on NBC TV stations in
Las Vegas and Reno, Nev., Pocatello/Idaho Falls, Idaho, Helena,
Mont., Yuma, Ariz., and Casper, Wyo.
Created by the American Pet Products Manufacturers Association
(Greenwich, Conn.), the Pets Add Life campaign is designed
to promote pet adoptions, responsible pet ownership and pet
product sales, as well as increase name recognition and create
positive branding for participating sponsors.
The campaign delivers its pet awareness message via three
30-second TV spots, regular pet news segments, a brochure,
an ad, Web links, a poster and other materials.
Sponsors are included on all collateral materials distributed
to support local initiatives and may be involved in pet news
segments.
