Responding to attendees’ and exhibitors’ concerns about the design of the Las Vegas Convention Center, the World Wide Pet Supply Association (Arcadia, Calif.) has signed a contract to move SuperZoo West to the Mandalay Bay Resort in Las Vegas. This year’s show will take place Sept. 21-22.

According to show organizers, the Mandalay Bay Convention Center has an easy-to-navigate square layout, and is a popular venue for major conventions in Las Vegas.

“We are very pleased to have secured these optimum dates for 2005 at the fabulous Mandalay Bay Resort,” said Doug Poindexter, executive vice president of WWPSA. “Its reputation as a world-class exhibit hall and convention host hotel make it a perfect location to continue to build on the success of SuperZoo West in Las Vegas.”
