7Pets has taken another step towards the goal of supporting the cat lover community through its donation program. The company will donate over 25,000 pounds of Garfield Cat Litter to The Pet Project in Florida.

The Pet Project is a non-profit dedicated to reducing the number of pets that are voluntarily surrendered to animal shelters solely due to their human companion having financial or health challenges. The organization collects donations and delivers them to those who are struggling to care for their pets.

“We can imagine how hard it is for someone to surrender their beloved cat due to financial and/or health issues, so we are very happy to include such a great cause in our donation program,” 7Pets CFO Pedro Bastos said.

“The Pet Project is so lucky to have received 7Pets as a new sponsor at our gold level,” said Sue Martino, executive director of The Pet Project.
