5th IBPSA Conference, Trade Show Announced

The International Boarding & Pet Services Association (IBPSA) today announced that “earliest bird” registration for the trade association’s Fifth Annual IBPSA Pet Care Services Educational Conference & Trade Show is now open. The educational event, happening October 3-5, 2017, in Jacksonville, Florida, features a line-up of new faces and seasoned pros all bringing fresh ideas and smart insight to educate and inspire the owners, managers, and key employees of pet boarding and daycare facilities, pet sitters, veterinarians, groomers, trainers and more working in the pet care services industry.

“We’re so excited about this year’s conference as we’re not only celebrating a milestone in our fifth year,” IBPSA founder and CEO Carmen Rustenbeck said. “But we’ve also put together a combination of speakers and sessions that promote business health as well as personal health.”

The event’s keynote speaker is Dr. Rick Goodman, a speaker and author whose motivational presentations have been hailed by companies and associations from start-ups to Fortune 500. Session topics for the Fifth Annual IBPSA Pet Care Services Educational Conference include:

The conference will be accompanied by an industry trade show and immediately preceded by three pre-conference workshops for more intensive learning in three distinct areas:

• Pet First Aid & CPR (October 2, 2017) – hands-on educational course that provides valuable first aid skills for dogs and cats
• Champions for Care Infectious Disease Certification Program (October 2, 2017) – program co-sponsored by Merck Animal Health in coordination with IBPSA, designed to help both veterinary and pet businesses stay free of infectious disease
