15 Find Forever Homes at Outdoor Retailer Summer Market

Listen to this articleFifteen qualified Ruff Adventure Dogs from Best Friends Animal Society and their SLC partner, Rescue Rovers, were matched with Outdoor Retailer show attendees looking for a little more adventure in their life.
Adoption and air travel fees were covered by Ruffwear through their two-year, $50,000 partnership with Best Friends. Each dog was also sent home with a new collar and leash. Since the program started in May of 2015, 50 homeless dogs have found their forever homes.
The organization thanked all those who supported this year’s adoptions through Outdoor Retailer shows, GoPro Mountain Games and Ruffwear’s Facebook page.
Ruffwear stated that it is committed to enhancing the lives of all dogs and their human companions through partnerships with Best Friends Animal Society and The Conservation Alliance. The company supports dog adoption to connect active dogs with active people and helps protect wild places to ensure there are plenty of open spaces to explore together.
